Veterans

AbilityOne’s diverse national workforce includes more than 1,500 military veterans with disabilities. These critical employees are able to draw on their exceptional military training and valuable on-the-job experience and leverage those skills in their new careers.

Employers benefit from the knowledge a veteran brings to their organization — whether it is the ability to adhere to tight schedules using limited resources or knowing how to prioritize tasks and complete them on time. Additionally, veterans possess many transferable skill sets that can readily be applied to the myriad of opportunities in areas such as administration, call centers, facility management, fleet management, food preparation, manufacturing and more.

The transition from military service to civilian life can be challenging but rewarding. AbilityOne is committed to helping our returning service members across the nation find satisfying careers.
