Since 1980, the AbilityOne Program has provided vital food services to America’s Armed Forces and Federal government workers. These decades of experience combined with our knowledge of federal practices and requirements have propelled us to the forefront of the commercial food service industry, making AbilityOne the smart choice for our government and military customers.

We currently serve 25 million meals a year and perform all full food-related services including:

Within our 2,800 existing contracts and 572 national nonprofit agencies (NPAs) you will find an array of quality programs and certifications in place including ISO 9001-2000, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and Malcolm Baldrige.

AbilityOne and our NPAs have a commitment to training and development for people with severe disabilities. Each NPA has a background in development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for their workforce, helping to ensure that each employee is prepared for their role on your contract. AbilityOne also offers recommendations for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and improve performance on your contract.
