Secure Document Destruction

Every day across the country, AbilityOne employees are responsible for shredding sensitive documents for security-conscious Federal customers. Since 2005, AbilityOne providers have serviced more than 480 secure document destruction contracts, all the while providing vital jobs for workers who are blind or have other significant disabilities.

The AbilityOne Program’s secure document destruction services include:

  • Document and materials destruction
  • Recycling programs
  • Media/x-ray film imaging, conversion and destruction

Our services feature:

  • Professional, trained, bonded and insured staff
  • Alarm monitored facilities with 24/7 video surveillance and 90-day backup
  • Ability to watch real-time destruction of customer’s documents
  • Regularly scheduled pick-up days
  • Trucks with real-time GPS tracking
  • Shred widths of 5/16” versus the industry standard of 5/8”
  • Full 7-year background checks of all employees
  • On-going training for all employees
